Reaction to follow! 🗣️

Mike Buckley said on Friday he had confidence in Taylor Canfield's non-foiling cat experience and he was proven right. A pair of P4 finishes - and very nearly a P3 - to finish the weekend and this double header.
It's onto Cádiz next for the DP World Spain Sail Grand Prix on October 4-5. Follow across our social media channels and the U.S. SailGP Team App throughout the rest of the day for full coverage and reaction.

CONFIRMED: We start four up ✅
Confirmation the teams will begin Race 1 with four athletes.
U.S. SailGP Team driver Taylor Canfield explained yesterday that we'd used practice to try different configurations, so nothing should be a surprised!
In other news, hosts Switzerland are enduring some hydraulic concerns so the start will be slightly delayed.
09/20/2025
Three up in Race 1? 👀
We're awaiting confirmation but it looks like the teams will be going three up in Race 1 owing to light winds on Lake Geneva.
If you're new to SailGP, in order to improve the chances of the boats getting up and foiling, teams must reduce weight by cutting their crew.
It then becomes a tactical decision as to who makes up the reduced configuration, with those athletes on the boat having to take on multiple roles.

The U.S. SailGP Team continue their run of European races when they head to the shores of Lake Geneva in September.
It will be the first time that Switzerland has held a SailGP event, adding to the anticipation surrounding this Round 11 meeting.
With the business end of the season drawing into view, the racing action is sure to be fast and furious — but expect a degree of serenity away from the waterfront.
The French-speaking city is characterized by a charming old town full of cafés and boutiques, overlooked by the towering Cathedral of Saint Pierre.
