ROCKWOOL Denmark were box office in 2025. From setting a new SailGP speed record to recording their first event win – their season had it all.

Story of 2025:
The 2025 SailGP Season was a defining campaign for ROCKWOOL Denmark. There were thrills and spills, with a SailGP record also thrown into the mix.
Three P1s in the season’s first two events were tempered by hitting a mark during Race 1 of the Oracle Los Angeles Sail Grand Prix. The damage sustained by the F50 prematurely ended their event, resulted in a 12-point penalty and ruled them out of San Francisco the following weekend.

However, with their F50 repaired and new high-speed rudder and foil packages unleashed in Sassnitz, ROCKWOOL Denmark made history. In Race 3, Sehested and co. eclipsed France’s long-standing speed record of 99.98 km/hr by hitting 103.93 km/hr.
After threatening to make an event Final several times throughout the season - coming closest in Cadiz with a P4 - Denmark got over the hump in Abu Dhabi with their maiden event win after going 3-1-1-2-10-2.
Køstner was announced as Mubdala Brazil’s new flight controller ahead of the 2025 Season Grand Final. Replacing him is Ed Powys who moves along the F50 from grinder to flight controller. Grinder Julius Hallström has joined Nordic rivals Artemis SailGP Team from ROCKWOOL, too.
Elsewhere, Christian Rosendahl will rejoin the team after missing the entire of the previous season through injury.
