Published 05/6/2026
The U.S. SailGP Team returns to action in Bermuda this weekend for the Bermuda Sail Grand Prix, with racing set for Saturday, May 9 and Sunday, May 10 on the Great Sound.
Racing is scheduled to begin at 2pm local time on both days. To check the time in your region, click here.
With warm temperatures and moderate breeze forecast, conditions look favorable for racing – though Bermuda’s position in the Atlantic can still deliver subtle shifts across the racecourse.
Saturday is expected to bring sunshine and temperatures of 75f, with a steady easterly breeze of around 12–18 km/hr and stronger gusts reaching 37 km/hr at times.
There is a 25% chance of passing showers, which could create brief shifts in pressure and patchy conditions across the course.
Conditions remain similar on Sunday, with temperatures holding around 77f and a consistent 20 km/hr breeze expected to continue across the Great Sound, gusting up to 33 km/hr.
The chance of rain increases, however, to 94% with eight hours of rain forecast for Super Sunday.
Be sure to follow all the action via the U.S. SailGP Team app and social media channels throughout the weekend.
