SailGP Confirms Split Fleet Racing For Canada

Change to racing format confirmed after review of the forecast and race course

SailGP has confirmed the Canada Sail Grand Prix will follow a split fleet format after a review of the forecast and course area.

Race Management announced on Saturday morning its intention to race in groups in Halifax.

Group A: BONDS Flying Roos, Los Gallos, DS Automobiles France, ROCKWOOL Racing, NorthStar, Mubadala Brazil, Black Foils.

Group: Emirates GBR, U.S. SailGP Team, Artemis, Germany SailGP Team presented by Deutsche Bank, Red Bull Italy, Explora Swiss.

Intended Schedule:

Saturday, June 20: 6 races (3 per group) if conditions allow

Sunday, June 21: 5 races (2 per group + 4-boat Final)
