Earlier this month, the U.S. SailGP Team brought together a group of leaders from sailing and sport business for a networking event in New York City. The evening created space for meaningful connection and shared ambition — and reinforced a simple truth: progress happens faster when women have access to each other.
U.S. SailGP Team Grinder Anna Weis joined the event to share her perspective as an athlete competing at the highest level of professional sailing. She spoke candidly about navigating high-performance environments, earning trust in male-dominated spaces and why representation and mentorship are non-negotiable for the next generation of women in sport.
The event featured guided networking rounds, where guests were paired for purposeful mentoring conversations, sparking new connections and future collaborations across industries. From emerging founders and athletes to executives and investors, the room reflected a growing movement powered by women who are building, leading and opening doors for others.
