SailGP’s national broadcast on CBS this past Sunday drew more than 1.8 million viewers, according to Nielsen, making it the second most-watched SailGP broadcast in U.S. history.
The U.S. record still belongs to “The Race to Abu Dhabi,” which aired on CBS last November and drew 3.469 million viewers. It remains both the most-watched SailGP broadcast and the most-watched sailing race in U.S. history.
CBS Sports has been SailGP’s U.S. broadcast home since 2019 and will show the final two events of the 2026 Rolex SailGP Championship events in Dubai (Nov 21/22) and Abu Dhabi (Nov 28/29).
