Bermuda: A World-Class Escape Beyond the Race
Set in the Atlantic, Bermuda feels worlds away, yet effortlessly within reach. Just a short journey from the U.S. East Coast, the island welcomes you with warm personalities, colourful homes with white stepped rooftops and water in shades you didn’t know existed.
For SailGP visitors, it’s the perfect pairing: high-performance racing on the water, and an island designed for slowing down, leaning in, and discovering something unexpected.
Settle Into the Island
Select from a host of waterside luxury hotels, such as the St Regis, Rosewood Bermuda or The Loren and take a deep breath of fresh ocean air.

Adjust to the easy, unhurried rhythm of Bermuda and find the time to build the perfect itinerary.
Mornings begin with sunlight hitting the blushing pink-sand beaches inviting morning movement. Guests can try an oceanside yoga class, a walk on the railway trail or a saltwater swim to get you going for the day.
Spend a restorative afternoon at the Natura Spa at Grotto Bay Beach Resort & Spa, where treatments unfold inside a serene cave setting unlike anywhere else. Enjoy a classic afternoon tea at one of the hotels or tee off with breathtaking views at Port Royal Golf Course, where the PGA Tour Butterfield Bermuda Championship takes stage every fall.

Take It to the Water
Bermuda is best experienced on the water, providing a new perspective of the archipelago.
Set out on a private cruise aboard a luxury catamaran and travel the coastline and enjoy the views as the captain will nip into quiet coves, hidden beaches, and spots you can't reach by land. Spend the afternoon swimming, snorkeling, or simply drifting under the sun.
As the sun starts to set and the light softens, the experience shifts to cocktail hour. Try signature Bermudian cocktails, like the Dark ‘N Stormy© or an island-inspired drink at Port O’ Call, Harry’s or 1609 at The Hamilton Princess & Beach Club. For a luxurious dinner on the water, head to The Waterlot in Southampton, the winner of ‘Best Fine Dining 2025’ from The Best of Bermuda Awards.

But remember, luxury also lives in the local food. Like a perfectly made fish sandwich on raisin bread, a fish chowder with sherry peppers and Goslings Black Rum, or a crisp Barritt’s Ginger Beer shared as the sun dips below the horizon.
Explore Beyond the Beach
History, culture, and natural beauty are all within easy reach.
Join a walking tour through the town of St. George, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. A knowledgeable tour guide will take you through winding lanes and tell stories of centuries-old architecture bringing Bermuda’s past to life . Continue the journey with a visit to one of the island’s historic forts, where panoramic views stretch across land and sea or visit Lili Bermuda, the island’s perfumery to take Bermuda home in a bottle.
Add the Crystal Caves to your bucket list. Descend into an otherworldly landscape of still water and dramatic formations that feel completely removed from the world above. These caves are so magical, they served as inspiration for Bermudian artist Michael K. Frith, one of the co-creators of the 1980’s TV show, Fraggle Rock.

If you’re a fan of The Muppets, Bermuda National Gallery currently has an exhibit ‘The Art of Michael K. Frith: From Pencil to Puppet’, which celebrates the work of one of Bermuda's most accomplished artists, featuring some of the original Muppets in the display. Another art gallery to consider is Masterworks Bermuda, located in the Botanical Gardens.
Enjoy Time with the Bermudians
No matter how your itinerary pans out, the locals will find a way to strike up friendly conversation. Take time to hear their stories and they will likely share their favourite place to grab a bite to eat, or the best rum swizzle recipe!
