What conditions will the final event of the season offer as the SailGP season concludes in Abu Dhabi?

The 2025 SailGP Season ends where it started – in the Middle East, with Abu Dhabi hosting the Grand Final this weekend.
While U.S. SailGP Team fans in the United States enjoy the last of the fall, conditions in the United Arab Emirates will be considerably warmer.
On Saturday, November 29, temperatures of 29°C (84.2°F) are forecast, with just 1% cloud cover and no rain anticipated. A light WSW breeze of around 7 km/h is expected, with gusts potentially reaching 24 km/h.
Conditions will be similar for Day 2 and the Grand Final, with temperatures of 28°C (82.4°F). Again, it’ll be clear and dry, with a 0% chance of precipitation and no cloud cover.
The wind is forecast to strengthen slightly, with a WSW breeze of around 9 km/h and gusts up to 26 km/h.
Teams will therefore likely opt for the brand-new 27.5 m wing to maximize power throughout the weekend.
