NEW YORK, NY – (February 3 , 2026) The U.S. SailGP Team today announced a multi-year partnership with Leyton, naming the global advisory firm its Official Tax Efficiency Partner, as the team continues a run of strategic commercial additions heading into the 2026 season.
Leyton has a longstanding connection to high-performance sailing, with involvement across multiple classes and teams before expanding into SailGP. The partnership with the U.S. SailGP Team represents the next phase of that journey, aligned with a team operating at increasing scale across international markets, commercial partnerships, and year-round business activity.
“We’re excited to welcome Leyton as the Official Tax Efficiency Partner of the U.S. SailGP Team,” said Mike Buckley, Team Principal and CEO of the U.S. SailGP Team. “Their expanded investment in our sport reflects a long-term commitment, and this partnership supports how we activate across our global calendar for partners and stakeholders. Efficiency underpins everything we strive to achieve. Leyton’s expertise is not just an asset for our team, but a value-driver we are excited to introduce to our wider partner ecosystem.”
Operating across international markets throughout the season, the U.S. SailGP Team manages a complex global business alongside its racing program. Leyton brings advisory expertise in tax efficiency and innovation incentives that reinforces that operating model.
As part of the partnership, Leyton will be integrated across the U.S. SailGP Team ecosystem, including brand presence on the team’s F50 race boat, team signage and prominent placement across owned digital channels. The collaboration will also include select team-hosted B2B events and private engagements across the season.
The U.S. SailGP Team is building a very impressive network of partners,” said Guillaume Collin, Leyton North America President. “This partnership allows us to leverage their hospitality and reach in our key markets, but also provides a powerful narrative backdrop. We share the same obsession with high performance: the team manages a complex operation with incredible agility, exactly how Leyton approaches innovation funding and tax efficiency to drive real success.”
The partnership will officially launch ahead of the New Zealand Sail Grand Prix in Auckland on February 14-15, and continue across the U.S. SailGP Team’s international race calendar.
SailGP fans can tune in to watch all the action live on February 13 and 14 at 10:00 pm EST on CBS, as well as on CBSSports.com and YouTube at the link here
