Los Gallos Acquired By Quantum Pacific Group Ahead Of Rio Sail Grand Prix

Deal represents highest price for sailing team in Spain as Los Gallos join impressive portfolio

Los Gallos SailGP Team has been sold to Quantum Pacific Group in a deal that is the largest investment in a sailing team in Spain.
The 2024 Season Champions become the latest team to be acquired by private investment, joining the likes of DS Automobiles France, BONDS Flying Roos and Red Bull Italy. It means 12 of the 13 teams competing in SailGP have been sold by the league to outside investors.
Quantum’s acquisition of the Spanish team further expands their already impressive sporting portfolio, joining Spanish soccer giants Atlético de Madrid and Portuguese side FC Famalicão, as well as cycling’s Movistar Team.
