New Zealand claimed their first event win since Dubai on Sunday, pipping home favourites Emirates Great Britain to glory at the Great Britain Sail Grand Prix in Portsmouth.
For the U.S. SailGP Team, encouraging signs on Saturday gave way to frustration as technical issues ruled them out of Races 5 and 6 on Sunday, knocking them out of contention for the points.
Unable to join us on the Solent? Here are five things you might have missed from the weekend’s action…
Andrew Campbell links up with U.S. SailGP Team
The U.S. SailGP Team strengthened its roster ahead of the weekend’s racing by announcing the return of former team member Andrew Campbell. He joined up with the team in the UK and was pitched straight into practice on Friday.
A three-time America’s Cup competitor with American Magic and Team ORACLE USA, Campbell has previously raced with Michael Menninger.
Campbell got on the F50 for Race 7 on Sunday and you can watch his first interview since re-signing with the team above.

SailGP fans turned out in force across the weekend with more than 20,000 ticketed supporters making the Emirates Great Britain Sail Grand Prix the most attended sailing event in British history.
With a partisan crowd behind them, Dylan Fletcher and Emirates GBR stole the show on Saturday, going 1-2-3-2 to top the leaderboard after Day One, later qualifying for the Final.
Fans enjoyed performances from Tom Grennan and legendary DJ Pete Tong, while the weather played its part in making the first British Grand Prix since Season Three a roaring success!
Super Swiss make their first Final
Switzerland made history with their display in Portsmouth, reaching their first ever Final
Sebastien Schneiter and Switzerland got their reward for a fine weekend of fleet racing by qualifying for Sunday’s Final with a 5-1-2-6-8-3-4 record – their first in SailGP history.
A strong start saw the Swiss go head-to-head with the Emirates GBR team in the early stages, rounding Mark 1 to take the inside line and the lead. However, it was New Zealand and Peter Burling - then trailing in third - who eventually prevailed.
Speaking afterwards, driver Schneiter said: “We deserve it. We worked really hard as a team and sailed well all weekend. We had an awesome start and showed we were there, so I’m looking forward to the rest of the season.”

Spectator boat causes carnage!
On a day where several teams endured technical issues, the Spanish suffered a dramatic nosedive and the Swiss were forced to retire from their first-ever Final, a spectator boat made headlines for drifting onto the course!
Just before Race 6 was due to begin, a small spectator vessel - one of a number in close proximity to the race course - ended up in the start box with 11 F50s speeding toward it. Not somewhere you want to be!
For everyone’s safety, the race was abandoned and restarted. Talk about taking pitch invading to a new level!
