U.S. SailGP Team grinder Anna Weis reflects on a challenging day on the water in New York City
U.S. SailGP Team grinder Anna Weis conceded that it had been a tricky afternoon on the Hudson, as day one of the Mubadala New York Sail Grand Prix came to a close.
Despite bringing racing forward from a scheduled 3:30pm start, heavy rain made for tough conditions – especially in fleet races two and three. The U.S. SailGP Team finished the day with a P7 to give the packed grandstand on Governors Island something to cheer about.
