No changes on Day 2 in Portsmouth. We’ll see the high-speed foils and rudders on the F50s, along with the 18-meter wing. That means six-up racing for the U.S. SailGP Team.

Here we go, then, it’s Super Sunday at the Emirates Great Britain Sail Grand Prix! 🇬🇧
The formula is pretty simple. Two more races in Group A and B respectively, the top two teams after five fleet races will go into the winner-takes-all Final.
Overnight, the U.S. SailGP Team is P2 in Group B. A solid start but work to be done to secure our Final berth.

As you may or may not have seen in the week, we’re sticking with split-fleet racing for Portsmouth – and possibly beyond.
There are six races slated for today with three for each group. Points will work as follows:
P1 = 5pts
P2 = 4pts
P3 = 3pts
P4 = 2pts
P5 = 1pts
P6-P7 = 0pts
Group A: Los Gallos, Bonds Flying Roos, Black Foils, NorthStar, Red Bull Italy, ROCKWOOL Denmark & Mubadala Brazil.

After what’s felt like a long month since Halifax, SailGP is BACK!
We’re on the South Coast in Portsmouth for Day 1 of the Emirates Great Britain Sail Grand Prix and you’re in the best place for all the coverage throughout the day.
This is event No.8 on the 2026 Rolex SailGP Championship – who’s going to come out on top?
SailGP returns to Portsmouth for the second time this year, as the U.S. SailGP Team prepare to face the unique challenges of sailing in the Solent.
Typically tumultuous waters should ensure that Round 8 tests the competing crews to the maximum, as fans enjoy some fantastic views of the action unfolding.
A visit to Portsmouth also offers attendees plenty to enjoy alongside the race, with the city’s dockyard packed full of must-see sights for those interested in maritime history.
Make sure to check out 16th-century Tudor warship the Mary Rose and don’t miss Admiral Nelson’s world-famous HMS Victory.
