It's been a busy day out on the German seas with Australia out in front in the overall event standings, a new speed record set for the sport, and a dramatic collision between the U.S. SailGP Team and Emirates GBR in the late stages of Race 4.

A maiden visit to Germany offers plenty of intrigue in Round 9, as Sassnitz prepares to welcome SailGP’s 12 crews.
The U.S. SailGP Team will be eagerly anticipating their trip to the island of Rügen, with its towering chalk cliffs, beaches and coastal walks.Those heading to the Jasmund peninsula will enjoy a great view of the action, as well as spectacular scenery away from the race.
The Jasmund National Park is packed full of breathtaking natural landscapes, while the Fishing and Harbour Museum will be right up the alley of nautical enthusiasts.
