Andrew Campbell brings a wealth of experience to the U.S. SailGP Team having previously raced at the 2017, 2021 and 2024 editions of the America’s Cup with American Magic and ORACLE Team USA. The Georgetown University alumnus competed in the Laser class at the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing, having won PanAm Games gold in Rio in 2007. At Georgetown, Campbell led the No.1 ranked Hoyas in the Inter-Collegiate Sailing Association National Championships and won three singlehanded national championships (2003, 05, 06). He was named an ICSA All-American in four straight years, Youth World Champion in 2002, and College Sailor of the Year in 2006. Campbell comes from a long line of sailors with father Bill a three-time All American, as well as being part of a winning America’s Cup crew.
