Taylor Canfield is the driver of the U.S. SailGP Team and one of the most accomplished sailors in the United States. He has recorded 18 world championship podium finishes, including nine world championship titles, across multiple sailing disciplines. Canfield has been part of SailGP since the league’s inaugural season, initially serving as flight controller and developing deep command of the high-speed, hydrofoiling F50 catamarans. He assumed the driver role in the 2024 season, bringing sharp tactical judgment, composure under pressure, and leadership that helped shape the U.S. team’s campaign.
